There was only 1 other little boy there, don't think many kids go there but everyone was lovely with him and he enjoyed his first holiday.Opened June 2022. We also had a ground floor room which we requested in advance and they accommodated for us. The only thing to note is that the hotel has lots of steep steps and no ramps, so isn't suitable for people with mobility issues, however this didn't bother us as was good exercise(!) with all the drinking and eating, and between us we carried the buggy up and down the stairs and staff were always there to help us. The beach is not far either, about a 10 minute walk with a strip of beach bars close by. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk into the main town, but it's a nice flat walk and we enjoyed being slightly away from the centre, as it was very quiet. Personal food highlights were the Chicken salad and the cheesy jacket potatoes which me and my son shared most lunchtimes. Happy Hour 7-9pm every night we enjoyed the cocktails and local draught beer. We really enjoyed the food and drinks here too, very reasonably priced and big portions. The pool area is also lovely and clean, it's never a struggle to get a sunbed either. ![]() Our son was also very comfy in his cot every night and slept much better than he does at home! The hotel itself is so clean, I've never stayed anywhere so immaculate before. We didn't have the aircon but the room was still quite a comfortable temperature (September) and there is a shutter door for mosquitos which was a great touch. The rooms are very spacious and so clean, the beds very comfortable. They also had toys for little ones available in the reception area and board games for adults. On arrival the staff were so welcoming, took our cases straight to the rooms for us and nothing was too much effort for them, they even made sure we had everything in the room we needed for little boy including a microwave etc. We came with parents too who have been staying here for years so we already knew that we were going to enjoy it here. This is our second time in Tsilivi but the first time staying at the Zante Star and also first abroad holiday with our 18 month old. ![]()
